About
Ricky Paquette is a highly talented musician from Gatineau who started making significant impact in the music industry at the young age of 12. He has opened for renowned Canadian and international artists such as CCR, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, and Frank Marino.
Ricky's latest album"Sparks" was released in 2022. He collaborated with Gordie Johnson's (Big Sugar, The Glorious Sons, The Trews, Reel Big Fish) for production and co-writing.
his 9-track album "SPARKS" is a testament to his love for 70s rock and roll with a hint of country and southern spice. The album's sound is reminiscent of Rod Stewart, Blackberry Smoke, The Rolling Stones, and Chris Stapleton taking listeners on a journey through Southern California on a hot summer day.
Since Sept 2022, Ricky has assumed the role of lead guitarist for the esteemed Canadian rock band, THE SHEEPDOGS. His exceptional guitar skills have earned him the opportunity to tour worldwide, with the band, headlining and supporting artist such as Bryan Adams and Larking Poe.
The Sheepdogs are actively touring across Canada, the US, and Europe, captivating audiences with Their electrifying performances.

I am deeply passionate about music and have been told by many that my skills truly shine when I am playing the guitar which has been my main focus for most of my career.
However, I also love getting deeply involved in other facets of music including writing, recording, mixing and mastering.
